Protect
(Triptych – Protect, Defend, Free)
Monotype, oil ink, and fabric rocks chine collé, 37″ x 49″

“Protect, Defend, Free” is a triptych bound by a common thread: liberty. Liberty, at its core is pluralism—the belief that freedom can only exist when many voices and perspectives are allowed to live side by side.

The three paintings form a whole. “Protect” speaks to the need to safeguard the space where individuality can take root. “Defend” reflects the struggle to resist forces that seek to silence or divide. “Free” reveals how individuality flourishes only when it is both protected and defended.

Together, they affirm that liberty is never the rule of one, but the strength of many woven together.
